held in the City of Annapolis on the Eleventh
Day of January, 1978, and Ending on the Tenth
Day of April, 1978, Blair Lee III, being Acting
Governor of the State, the following laws were
enacted, to wit:

CHAPTER 1

(Senate Bill 997 of 1977)

AN ACT concerning

Rules and Regulations — Emergency Approval

FOR the purpose of permitting the Committee on
Administrative, Executive and Legislative Review to
approve regulations on an emergency basis, subject to
certain conditions; and generally relating to emergency
approval of regulations by the Committee.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Annotated Code of Maryland

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 40A(f) of Article 40 - General
Assembly, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971
Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement) be and it is hereby
repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
