AN ACT to repeal and re-enact Section 20-9 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Allegany County, Maryland (1983 Edition),
the same being Article I of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland titled "Civil Service Commission" to amend the rate of
compensation paid to members of the Civil Service Board of
Allegany County, Maryland and to change the number of persons
certified by the Board for a position.

Effective Date March 23, 1987.

EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL

FOR the purpose of providing for erosion and sediment control
standards, procedures and regulations; setting forth a short
title; stating purpose and intent; stating legislative
authority; stating jurisdiction of the ACT [ordinance];
addressing conflict with other regulations; providing other
general provisions; defining terms; providing for
applicability of the ACT [ordinance]; providing for standard
erosion and sediment control plans for certain minor
grading, earth disturbance and construction activities;
providing for the content, submission, review and
modification of detailed erosion and sediment control plans;
providing for inspection and enforcement; providing for the
establishment of fees; providing for penalties for
violations; providing for severability; and establishing an
effective date.
